What types of tracks and sessions can I expect?

Beginner to Advanced software training for most ACST products. We will also have tracks that prospects can attend.

Ministry Impact sessions will be available as wellLearn from the experts on ministry strategy and best practices. These sessions are not product specific and something for every ministry.

Will this Conference be recorded?

  • All sessions will be recorded and available after the conference.
  • Clients have to be registered for the Conference to access recordings.
  • If a client can’t attend the Conference live, then the client should still register so they can access the recordings
  • All recordings will be hosted in Hopin (conference platform) under the “Replay” option on the left side of the screen.
  • An email will go out after the conference from Hopin with a direct link to the recordings in the “Replay” section of Hopin
  • Recordings will be available in the Replay option of Hopin through December 31, 2023
  • Note: Post-event Replay is not available on the Hopin Mobile app, and can only be viewed in a web browser

Do I need to register for tracks/sessions?

We encourage you to prepare your own agenda so you have your sessions planned out ahead of time. To do this you must Join the Event (click “register” to join the event – even though you are already registered): Go to the reception page of the event > Scroll down to find the schedule section > Find a session you want to attend > click Bookmark Icon (Add to My Agenda). In “My Agenda” on the right hand panel find the agenda you have created. Use the down arrow next to a session in your agenda and add individual sessions to your google, ical or outlook calendar. Hopin Support Link

Why do I not see the bookmarks to set my agenda?

You are not logged into the event.  One of 2 ways to make sure you are in the event  1. find the registration confirmation email and that link is your unique link to join OR 2.  Click sign in – in the top right corner – enter the email you registered with – an email with a code will be sent and you will need to enter that code to enter the event.

I registered and mistyped my email address. What can I do to correct this?

If you are in Hopin after you registered, you should be able to go to your profile in the right corner and update your email. Otherwise, you will need to re-register with the correct email, and email  the information with the wrong email so we can cancel the wrong email registered.

I’m a MinistryPlatform user and I’ve only ever attended MPUG (MinistryPlatform User Group). Is the MinistrySmart Conference replacing MPUG? Are they the same?

The MinistrySmart Conference is not a replacement for MPUG. While MPUG focuses more on users gathering, networking, and being celebrated, the MinistrySmart Conference is all about training.

Do I need a camera to participate in the conference?

No, you just need internet access, with one of these latest web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, and Edge (chromium version on Windows 10 and above only). Hopin recommends using the latest version of Chrome for the best experience. 

However, if you choose to use the Hopin mobile app it does work on iOS devices and Android devices with limited capabilities. You can also use mobile browsers, however, they offer limited capabilities. If you must use a mobile browser, Hopin recommends Google Chrome (Android) and Safari (iOS/iPadOS).

What timezone is the conference platform (Hopin) in?

Hopin should automatically adjust the timezone to your timezone.

How do I join the event?

Your confirmation email should have a link to the event. You will also receive an email before the event (as close to an hour before the event) with the link to join
