The St. Stephen Baptist Church Music Ministry
The St. Stephen Baptist Church Music Ministry remains a fixture and musical trendsetter in the Greater Louisville, KY, area. Under the leadership of Joe Leavell, it consistently presents music with absolute excellence and a strong foundation of biblical teaching through song. Through the years the Temple Choir has created a name for themselves both locally and nationally, affording them the opportunity to minister in several states and perform with artists such as BeBe and CeCe Winans, Rueben Studdard, Patrick Lundy, Dr. Bobby Jones, Joe Pace, and most recently Pastor Donnie McClurkin. Most notably, the Temple Choir recorded their first "live" project which was nationally released in February 2009. This project offers music with scriptural balance and is appropriate for Sunday morning.
