Pre-Conference

 

Make the most of your conference experience by arriving early and taking one of our Ideas to Impact pre-conference classes. These classes run from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (with lunch on your own) and are designed to give beginners a greater understanding of some our most popular products. All pre-conference classes are $179 unless otherwise noted.

Below is an overview of the Ideas to Impact pre-conference classes that will be offered at the 2012 Conference.

The City: Boot Camp

Learn how to navigate through The City and build your City to meet the unique needs of your church in this informative boot camp. A variety of topics will be covered including basic navigation, communicating within The City, implementation strategies, group creation, sharing, unleashing serving groups, small group management, and many more. An Introduction to The City

Learn why The City is the best known and most widely used church-focused social community. It allows your churchgoers to engage with one another on their own terms using events, prayer requests, outreach, community calendars, giving and much more. Attend this session to discover how The City can help your church build deeper community and extend the love of Christ to the world. (Non-The City Clients)

Access ACS 101: From Get to Go

This beginner class on how to get started with Access ACS is only offered during pre-conference. Learn how to administer access to your account, set up and manage your small groups, online giving and event registration. (ACS Clients)

ACS Giving 101: From Get to Go

Geared toward beginners, this class will teach you how to set up the ACS Contributions module, enter and post offerings, manage online gifts, print reports and statements and manage pledge records.  This class is designed to help you improve your efficiency and simplify processes when working with your ACS software and is only offered during pre-conference. ACS Facility Scheduler 101: From Get to Go

This class is geared for those just learning Facility Scheduler and is only offered during pre-conference. Learn all about Facility Scheduler from setup and scheduling to reports and queries, plus integration with other tools. (ACS Clients)

ACS People 101

Geared toward beginners, this training class will teach you about managing People profiles, defining lists, and searches and filters. This class is designed to help you improve your efficiency and simplify your processes when working with your ACS software. (ACS Clients)

ACS Financials 101

Learn about ACS Financials and how to perform common financial tasks in your office. From setting up payroll and tracking vacation time to reports and W-2s, this track has everything you need to keep your financial accounting organized and accurate. (ACS Clients)

IT Roundtable

This pre-conference IT Roundtable is interactive. The participants set the agenda and interaction among participants takes precedent over presentation by "experts." In fact, in one way or another, most of the roundtable participants are already experts. No fee  (All Conference Attendees Welcome)
